Are the F100's experiencing problems?

There are rumors floating around in the air that the brand new Nikon professional F100 SLR is experiencing problems. I, for one, have experienced one problem first-hand. On the F100, the rewind mechanism is not functioning property, as it sometimes rewinds the film before you are finished with the roll. For example, I was shooting a 36 roll of Fuji Sensia II 100 speed and the F100 rewound on me at frame #17. Interesting...
What Nikon perhaps doesn't want you to hear is the newer F100's have some built-in improvements to them to correct these problems. If you have filled out a warranty card with them for your F100, I suggest that you send it in to Nikon for a check-up. They will most likely replace the rewind mechanism for you, if you are experiencing those problems...
